Ubtan is one of the oldest things in Indian skincare — the blend of grains, flowers and herbs mixed fresh at home and used before every wedding, every festival, every occasion that mattered. Baby Ubtan is that tradition, formulated gently enough for a six-month-old.
It is made for babies and kids from 6 months to 14 years, for boys and girls alike, and it works on both face and body. Newborns, toddlers and school-going children all suit it — and it earns its place particularly in summer, when football, skating and swimming leave children several shades darker than they started.
It cleanses and nourishes at once, which is what an ubtan does that a soap cannot. Beyond keeping skin soft, healthy and glowing, it helps with the specific things parents actually ask about: tan on the face and body, uneven skin tone, the darkness that collects on knees, elbows and the neck, mosquito bite marks and minor scars, and concerns around newborn facial hair.
One instruction matters more than the rest: no soap after using it. Ubtan works by leaving a fine layer of nourishment on the skin, and soap takes it straight back off.
