Acne Defence Anti-Pimple Masque is augmented with Margosa and Ocimum Sanctum — Neem and Tulsi, the two herbs Indian households have reached for against skin trouble for centuries. Alongside them sit Activated Charcoal and a further blend of zaribootis, chosen for oil control and to cure acne, pimples, blemishes, boils, acne scars and spots.
It is an antibacterial masque first. Neem is one of the most respected natural antibacterials there is, and Tulsi is close behind — together they go after the bacteria behind breakouts rather than only drying out what has already surfaced. That is what makes the difference between clearing today's spots and having fewer of them next week.
Activated Charcoal does the drawing out. It has an enormous surface area relative to its size, which is why it lifts oil and impurities out of pores so effectively — and clogged pores are where acne begins. The masque also lessens the production of excess sebum, so it addresses the oil at source instead of merely mopping it up.
