Exotic Lip Scrub is made with Rose, Beetroot, Hibiscus, Vitamin E and a handful of other secret ingredients, and it is aimed squarely at one thing: pink lips. Not tinted pink — genuinely lighter, more even lips underneath whatever you put on them.
It gets there two ways at once. First it exfoliates: it removes the dead skin and lifts the chapped, flaking layer that makes lips look dull and rough, and it fades away the dark pigmentation that builds up over years of sun, smoke, coffee and long-wear lipstick.
Then it does the part most lip scrubs skip. It is a natural humectant, which means it draws moisture out of the environment into the skin rather than simply sealing over the top — and it penetrates and rebalances the lipid layer of the lips. Lips have no oil glands of their own, so that lipid layer is all they have to hold water in. Rebuilding it is why the softness lasts instead of wearing off with the scrub.
The result is lips that are soft, hydrated and pinkish, holding their moisture rather than needing balm again an hour later.
